Anchors a Weigh - Gin pole / anchors photo
« on: October 11, 2005, 04:51:47 AM »
I've been working on and off on my tilt tower which has given me time to plan things and move forward at a relaxed pace. The photo shows the gin pole attachment / winch end which will also have another  locking bolt through the anchor itself and the plate used to pull the gin pole. It's heavy stuff with 4" schedule 40 pipe and 1/2" steel plate. All 4 anchors are 6" steel I beam with 1/2" web with steel plate welded to the bottom set over 4' deep in nearly 2 yards of concrete each. More photos to follow as I hope to move things along before the weather turns too nasty. Dave B.
