Homebuilt wind turbine workshop in 1 week
« on: April 29, 2007, 09:02:11 PM »

It's going to be a lot of fun, Ian says they have a couple spots open still for it. This year (if the old Volvo makes it) Rich, George, DanF and I will all be there for it -  can't hardly wait!  If anyone here can afford the trip and tuition - it's a great time and an excellent opportunity to learn. The link is below.

Here are a few pages MattB made up about the last time we went:

I wonder if there are any other folks here on this discussion board who are attending?

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.

Well as much as I'd like to attend it myself, right now it's the Afford part holding me back. I got the time, but not the wheels or the money right now.

Have fun, do great work, post lots of pictures so I know what I missed!

It's the work part for me, I used up a bit of extra time off on the Fiji expedition.  I had hoped to make it out to Colorado, or one of the classes/workshops/fairs this year, but it is still up in the air at this point.  It does sound like a lot of fun though.  Rich
