Some Turbines from Ireland
« on: July 22, 2007, 11:17:39 AM »
Hi not much for words so not a lot of them but photos speak for them self's this first shot is how we solved the problem of transporting a balanced turbine.

The use of our old 1967 landrover Floyd as a work base for Lorna's turbine in Galway.

Peter's turbine have a look at his blog video of the installation. http://petercowman.wordpress.com/2007/05/30/getting-wired/

A nice house in Leitrim gets some power.

The turbines are 8f Hugh Piggott design made from SS and Larch

And this is an airX (good use for one)and 125w of PV running a Hydrophone for the Shannon Dolphin Foundation in the background is one of Ireland's major power stations and in the field behind the camara is Ireland's largest coal burning station (not in photo). Notice tree! and have a look at the Shannon Dolphin website http://www.shannondolphins.ie/

Workshop.
