Pretty nice story but has a lot of fairly large photos. Well worth the wait,tho, IMHO.

Thanks, jmk.

We tuned it up a bit today, got out a 4' level and got the tower pretty close to plumb.  Its running as we speak, and I'm the happiest guy in the world (I think :-))

Beautiful. In one of the pictures in the link "Construction Archives" there is a rock that kinda has the shape of a baby elephant.

I'm kinda like the other power folks (i think).  Of course, DanB has quite a bit of knowledge and experience (so I'm lucky).  Its fun and also interesting to share.  I believe in openly sharing whatever knowledge we have, to make things better for even one person. OK, so I wasn't wearing a hardhat, and sometime times wasn't wearing gloves and glasses when I (maybe) should have.  you folks are generally fun, and keep up the humor, as well as the technical content.  You rock!  I rock!  I've got new power!  I'm psyched!@

 I know you are! The only ones who know are the ones who have put one up. It's a very proud feeling. I just wish mine could be in clean air. It's fun to watch the amp gage too, isn't it?

Thats a way to keep out people that don't know the way in,

Someways like my girlfriends place, (see cabin drive about 1/2 mile past to pull into what looks like another cabin to find driveway back to her cabin).
