Has anybody ever tired vacuum bagging a stator to make sure the coils are all completely saturated?

I have potted stator coils in a vacuum to assure most air was removed and the coil was filled with epoxy. See: http://www.fieldlines.com/story/2009/3/2/171331/4786

Blessings and peace.

All I can say is WOW, that is the most well thought out, best engineered home built I have seen anywhere, I have been considering the tower for my 17' machine and can really see no good reason for using 10"x 12ga wall tubing, it is the wires that hold the tower up, I have seen several AREs and Skystreams on 85' tilt up towers using 4" and 5" tubing, again, you 20' machine is just awesome, if you ever sell plans put me first on the list.

Could you indicate type/brand of epoxy, source of wire, source of magnets with holes? If you drill, process please.

Were the tower and blades designed with finite element analysis?

Sorry, I think I made a mess of my question.

Would you be so kind to list a source and type/brand of epoxy? Additionally, a source for magnets with holes for the pins.
