that mill used to do some pretty strange things Sparweb.......
if it partially furled up it would often walk 70 degrees around the mast on its way down and self feather into the wind
the pre loading with the springs i think influenced this a lot as the mill would have had a much smaller apparent weight
if it furled all the way up to the top stop it would do a pirouette around the mast and put a twist in the cable ..the first time i witnessed it i was directly underneath trying
to shut it down....it was very surreal to watch i remember ....
this talent for cable twisting meant the grinder came out and the tail went back on ...
