Hi BT Humble,  Actually the fact that you saw this posting and replied to it means it is working!


For some reason postings I've made had disappeared from the home page (the "real" posting seemed to automatically go into the "controls" section on its own and then it didn't display on the home page).


Maybe this is why Jerry always makes a small post and replies to it himself?  I think I'll try that now...

Yeah, I know.  That's just the standard response whenevever somebody posts a "Testing!" message on the aus.motorcycles newsgroup, and I forgot where I was for a moment... ;-)


(One of the other standards is to offer $3.50 and a kick in the groin whenever somebody posts a forsale ad).
