A little more information is needed like what are the blades made from?  What design do they follow:  metal center, wood center etc.. Also the dimensions of the blades not just the diameter.  Then people will be able to help you

Hello,

as far as I know,

this machine is supposed to be

a rough copy of

'otherpower' 17 feet machine.

(I was some time ago working

with Naveed Ahmad.)

The blades are being made of fiberglass.

In principle it is best to try making

them as light as possible. So it is a good

idea not to make them of solid fiberglass,

but to use polyurethane inside the blades.

My machine has blades made from laminated red cedar, all in all the blade set (all 3 blades with hub) weighs around 60 pounds.

Im not sure theres any advantage to making them from fiberglass vs wood... fiberglass has fatigue issues, and I expect they'd come out weighing a bit more than nice wooden ones but hard to say - I have no experience with fiberglass blades.

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.
