savonius and benesh efficiencies
« on: September 05, 2005, 02:13:24 AM »
Dudes,

I've read a considerable amount of info (mostly from the net)and there seems to be little agreement on rotor efficiency. I've seen everything from 30 to 15% for the savonius and varying amounts from the benesh.

Should I just accept the word of sandia labs for the savonius?

I need closure!!

cheers

Lighten up...what's so serious? Unless you're trying to win a contest...just build a savonius..

2 barrel halfs or better and smoother 3 barrel

thirds hooked up to a generator or alternator

a battery bank and you're in business learning

to use less is half the fun !
