Wind generator settings

My father in law just moved out of town and has added a Whisper 100 to his system.  He is on a 24V system.  His reg on voltage is 28.4V and Reg off voltage is 26.6V.  His Solar bulk is 28 anf float is 27.  Are these ok or are there better settings for optimum results?  Any advice is appreciated...obviously new at this!

Those settings are in the ballpark.  They really depend on the battery type and temperature.  They should be higher for thick plate batteries and colder temperature, and lower for thin plate and sealed battery, and of course lower for higher temperature.
