Hugh Piggott's books
« on: October 15, 2005, 04:42:55 AM »
This morning the UPS man pulled in with a package for me.

I couldn't wait to tear that envelope open.

I purchased Windpower Workshop, & How to build a wind turbine, Both by Hugh.

Talk about a wealth of information. I have been reading non stop for 3 hours now, and am still learning. There is alot I need to figure out technically (I studied Computer Hardware & repair so this is all new to me). But I think with these 2 books, I can finally understand alot more of what you folks have been discussing, AND I finally understand how the furling system works. Now if I can just get enough $$$ together for the bigger magnets, I will have a go at a nice 12' turbine.

These books are excellant, and I recommend them to anyone who is seriously thinking about building one if these contraptions.

You got 2 books now eh.

I've read through one of them for building the dual rotor gennie with maybe 2"x1"x1/2" Neos. What's the other book?

Kinda a turmoil around here right now, I was planning to buy your book when things get smoothed out a bit, maybe I'll buy both :)

Things been a mess here since I got home from Canada, I should have stayed up there!
