Hi everyone, I live in the UK so this question is probably only related to the UK and Ireland members. I am installing a 3kw wind turbine with a WindyBoy grid tie inverter. I am going to do this myself but my local electrical company said I needed to follow the recomendations of G83/1.
I searched for this document and found that I could buy it from the Energy Network Association, but they were charging a rediculous price of £100.
So does anyone have a copy of the Engineering Recomendation G83/1(RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE CONNECTION OF SMALL-SCALE EMBEDDED GENERATORS (UP TO 16 A PER PHASE) IN PARALLEL WITH PUBLIC LOW-VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS.) And if so would you be willing to send me a copy? or even if someone could give me an idea of what I need to do to comply with G83/1
Thanks, I would appreciate any help you's can give.
Damien.
