crane tips ove when lifting turbine blades

Attached are some pictures where recentley a crane tipped over raising turbine blades for shipping,luckily he got away with a broken leg and some bruising.

Any idea where this took place--Siemens has a blade plant a few miles from me in Iowa, but I didn't hear anything on news.

Yes it happenned at a place called Port Kembla harbour 100 klms south of Sydney Australia about a week ago,the driver bypassed all the safety devices on the crane.

Looks likie the EM personel are not in any hurry to get in there .Is that a bad sign?

Bypassing safeties - I wonder if it was intentionally or an unforeseen consequence that really, really looks bad after-the-fact. Quite the near-eternal aww-shucks moment somewhere along in there, like when Wilie E Coyote is hanging in mid air on the wrong side of the cliff edge and just has time to wave at the camera before the bottom drops out...
