starded axial flux with 10 coils one coil is much smaller than the others is it ok if i solder more wire to the smaller coil to make it same size?

A 10 coil machine is probably Hugh's parallel 5 phase design and the coils ideally need similar numbers of turns and resistance. If adding more wire helps achieve this then do it otherwise it may not help.

No real idea what you have done for it to be a different size so no real chance of advising. If it was a 9 coil 3 phase winding I would say leave it but this is an odd case.

yes its piggots machine  the plans say 3 kilos of wire 100 turns x3oo gr each coil but the last coil was only 80 turns the place i bougt the wire gave me less than 3 kilos so i have to add more to the last coil.whats the diference with the 3 phase stator ?

If you can get some more wire then it would be better to add the extra turns to that coil. If you use it as it is that coil will contribute very little.

With a 3 phase winding with several coils in series then the difference one coil makes is much less and a bit of unbalance on a 3 phase rectifier would make little difference.

I agree yes, solder more wire on and make sure the join is on the end of the coil or somewhere so the lump is not a problem.  A short coil would work after a fashion - I have seen them work OK with coils missing too.  But the right number of turns is always best.

i solder more wire so all coils are the same.i finish the stator i have 10 wires coming out i use 5 rectifiers test by hand 18 volts open 1 ampx12 volt battery is that ok
