Rectifier source
« on: August 09, 2009, 01:32:16 AM »
10" has flown for almost a year in occassional high winds with no incidents since rebuilding it and incorporating cooling mods as posted previously.  Today however the bridge rectifiers on my heatsink have evidently shorted--noticed the mill very slow in relatively stiff breeze.  Checked her out by unplugging my pigtail breifly and she spins very well.  Want to go up in amperage rating of bridges--to about 45-50 amps, as I've seen 40 plus amps on several occasions.  Can't find any on the board or ebay (way out in boonies retail sources.  Any suggestions.

Thank you, my search for "full wave bridge rectifier" did not show these.  Have a nice day.
