I am begining to think I might have built to large of a turbine. (is that even possible-NEED MORE POWER) The winds here today are 10-20 mph gusting to 30 mph. The machine itself mechanicaly is holding up just fine furling a little early but that is better than burning up a stator. My A/C wire coming down from the turbine is a little warm and the rectifier seams to be running fairly cool thanks to the small 12 volt fan harvested from an old PC. The mechanical amp guage is telling me that i am pushing about 10amps in the lulls, and over 50 amps in the gusts. When the machine furls it drops to around 30 amps at 29 volts.
The last thing I need to purchase is that 24 volt inverter. I really have my mind set on the outback GVFX3524. It is my wallet that says no. (well that, and the wife) I have read so many posts on cheap chinese inverters. And you are all correct they are junk and I would be just throwing my money away. I just want to use some of this power.
