Help 220v to 110

i need to know if it is posable to switch a 220v dryer to 110v and if so how

any information i will be greatfull for thanks

Hi Phillip,

I would say it depends on the dryer:

If it has a built-in switch - easy switch it over

If not is there any electronics or just the clockwork type timer?

      If simple you could swap out the motor - pretty drastic.

      If there is some electronics - rebuild power supply - pretty drastic

                                   - or just get mains step down transformer - easy
