Will 2 bridge rectifiers fully rectify 3 phase as explained in http://www.windstuffnow.com/main/3_phase_basics.htm fully rectify 3 phase: One AC leg of the second bridge is not connected. I am really confused here whether I am loosing a whole phase. This phase on the second bridge has no return! The first bridge rectifier is connected to the phase 1 and 2. I am just thinking about this single phase???

Will it be better if I brought down the STAR point to act as a return or on of the other phase legs to run to this point and act as a return.

3 phase Gurus anywhere.

2 bridge rectifiers will accomadate a 4 phase machine . Since you only have 3 phases, you leave one set of connections on 1 bridge disconnected.
