putting LED's on blade tips for effect
« on: July 01, 2004, 07:01:00 PM »
Strange but cool idea...

I just got a really cool thought, how could I put led's on the blade tips of a dual rotor 3 blade machine.. I am thinking of a small coil between one of the magnets on the rotor should do it. Would be a great lighting effect at night!!

Thanks in advance for any comments!

Another idea!!! how about putting some small magnets on the inner inside of the core such that some small coils pick up a little juice and feed if to a processor like this..

could display RPM, time and temprature in large letters at night!! or smaller at inner part of the rotor...

This opens the door to some very neat possibilitys in adding some effects to props and gennys.....

Cool!

I'd put up an image of a hawk approaching to keep birds from flying into the blades.  B-)

Black hawk head-on silouette against something moderately sky-colored should do it.

Don't forget to put one on the back of the blades, too.
