Connecting 12v to 24v charger/converter, Help

Hi:

I recently buy a 12v to 24v charger/converter to use in a emergency, charging my 24v battery bank with my car alternator (50 amp iddle) , but it's not clear to me because in the instruction diagram they use two 12v batt in serial to explain the conection, because my batt bank is diferent I need some advice from you guys.

Scan the original manufacturers diagram and post it, then we can make recommendations.

connect the 12 v from yr vehicle to gnd and 12 as marked in the plate then 24volts to source to be charged.
