Ok, so I'm assuming that I'll finally be able to find Devcon Metal Welder somewhere, or at least a suitable substitute - and I'm also assuming that it'll actually work.
I'm looking at building 72 cell panels, and possibly hooking them to a grid tie inverter. Some of the inverters I looked at have very high input voltages, requring the linking of the panels in series. As this increases the system voltage, bypass diodes become more important, correct?
If that's the case, how do these diodes look?
If they're good, how should they be hooked up? Every 9v of cells? 18v? Per panel (36v max)?
There are trees in the area, so a shadow would sweep across the roof, finally allowing it full sunlight probably an hour after sunrise.
