Converting a Trace Microsine Inverter to Wind?

I am wanting to feed my Trace Microsine Inverter 100 watts at night when my solar is down.I will soon have 2 100 watt wind gens feeding a small battery bank and this is what I want to use.Has this been tried with any success and if so I sure would appreciate the pointers.........Thanks Folks........Patrick

There is a serial port connection for those, and software.  If you can get your hands on it, you can set the parameters of when the inverter turns on and off, which should enable you to use it with a battery bank.  Rich

The serial adapter is called the OK485. I found a cheaper approach using a RS485 adapter. The IC485S by ATEN works fine.


I have a brand ATEN IC485S adapter for sale if you like.  $30.00 US plus shipping.


I purchased one off Ebay that never showed until I gave up and bought another. Two months later my Ebay purchase showed up.  :)
