Wiring Gen to Xantrex SW4024 Gen Control
« on: January 26, 2007, 04:53:40 AM »
I have a GX620-QDF Engine that is powering a NorthStar Generator.  It is a 20 HP, 13,000 surge watts/10,000 continuous watt, Trifuel model generator.  It is electric start, has a fuel cut solenoid and low Oil shutdown.

My question is how do I wire it to my automatic generator control capable Xantrex SW4024 inverter/charger to be an automated part of my off-grid solar/battery/generator system?

First:

You need to have the wiring diagram available to us to examine for some to give the proper suggestions.

Second:

What is your electrical knowledge ?. Specially to follow sketches to make the changes.
