Stacking 2 SW4024`s

I want to stack 2 sw 4024`s and Trace call for a stacking cable. Is this just a regular parallel cable?

The stacking cable was made using a ribbon cable and is not quite a printer cable as I remember.  I will see if I can find out what it is.  I know there are only a few lines that are used.... A couple of clock lines and a few lines (or a couple lines) to synchronize charging modes between the two inverter/chargers.

In tracing a SW stacking cable and connector, ~their~ 25 pin connector appears to tie

pins 14, 18, 17, 21 together, and would connect to (I think)  pins 10, 7, 6, 3 of

a regular 25 pin printer connector.


Also,  pins  15, 16, 19, 20 connect together and would go to pins 9, 8, 5, 4 of

a regular 25 pin printer connector.


Pins 22 of the SW connector would tie to pin 2 of a regular 25 pin printer

port connector and pin 23 of the SW connector would tie to pin 1 of a regular

printer connector cable.


And, I ~think~ if you find that the phase is in phase between the two SWs when you

mean to have them out of phase (240VAC), then you can try swapping pins 1 and 2 of

the printer connector or pins 22 and 23 of the SW connector end.


No guarantees, but maybe worth a try if you have some patience and some connectors.
