Good afternoon everyone,
I am wondering if there is a safe yet economical way to run some sort of automatic transfer switch.
I do not have anything hooked up as of yet, but do have a 1KW genny, controller and inverter (1500W 48VDC pure sine wave) -- still waiting on my batteries...
What I am wanting/hoping to do is when the inverter shuts down because of low voltage I would like a transfer switch to cut back to the mains and visa-versa when the batteries are charged again.
Most of what I am going to tie into the inverter it will not matter (kids rooms upstairs -- so if they loose their games oh well ;0)) but I am hoping to also include my pellet stove downstairs so I can continue to have heat even if there is a power outage.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Scott
