Need inverter selection help!!
« on: January 15, 2009, 06:08:24 PM »
I am looking for a minimum 10Kw grid tie wind inverter system.  The best I can find now is stacking two power one 6 Kw Auroras but there have to be other options.  I looked at SMA's windy boy but the cost difference is little.  I will be using a 10kw clean energy technology generator in a newly designed cylindrical HWAT lift based system.  UL certification is preferred but may not be required at this point.  Anybody know of any others.  Offshore or not.

Here is a list of the California approved grid tie inverters. There are some in your range and many much larger.

Your size is considered "commercial"

is a low power commercial inverter from PV Powered Inc, that is on the California list.

Low power in this case is 30 kw.
