You have completed your alternate energy system and you understand how it works but does anyone else? If your not there can your partner or emergency personal operate and understand your system?
We all take it for granted that we will always be present but if you take the time to take pictures and mark what the components are and what they do others will understand also. A written set of operating procedures may save your equipment!
As well as labeling individual wires and the components take a picture and print a couple of copies. Then with a marker you can mark each component and write and explanation of what it does and how to operate it safely. This can be posted near the equipment and will be appreciated be others in case it is needed.
It takes a bit of time but if good insurance.
