tico;

This is as good an online reference as any for blade carving. By a master of the craft and a pioneer of home made turbines:

http://www.scoraigwind.com/selfblade/index.htm

It is in English but the pictures should be worth the time to look at.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your project.

Hi,
I'm comfortable with metric - can you give me more information?
How fast do you want your generator to be turned?

The "four foot diameter" plans on the Hugh Piggott website have a 1.2 meter diameter.  An excellent starting point.

If you want to try scaling that down to 1.0 meter diameter, then scale all of the others by the same factor.

The blades in your picture are between 6 to 8 feet in diameter, or between 1.8m to 2m.  They look a lot like the Hugh Piggot design, but you want a size smaller than that.  2 meters is quite large for the size of disks you show in your second picture.
Assuming you have completed that generator now with several magnets and coils, then a rotor about 1 meter in diameter may be about the right size.
So I agree you are on the right track.

Try looking through the Hugh Piggott website more:
http://www.scoraigwind.com/

and look especially at these pages:

http://www.scoraigwind.com/liselotte/index.htm
http://www.scoraigwind.com/wpNotes/index.htm

You can try your own calculations with his spreadsheet:

I searched everywhere but information abouth human mistake guided me
the principles you learn to be better can make the peaple better
so I try to generate a positive effect on all who know me
2 generator is working and will post pictures will be finished after

I wish you success, and we look forward to seeing it progress.
