My 17' Turbine so far
nekit:
Thought I would post how I monitor my system.
I have a FIT-PC brand mini computer that I purchased on eBay for $200. It is located in my shop by my inverters and is running all the time and only uses 6watts. It is streaming to Logmein free software that I can look at my system from any computer or smartphone anywhere in the world. I have "communicator" the Power One inverter monitoring software always running. Fairly low cost and low power usage.
Here's a screen shot.

Update:
Systems been up for about 2 years now. No failures, just routine maintenance about every 6 months. Seems to put out about 3700kwh per year.
Added another 6 kw of solar. Cranking out the solar in these windless summer days.
SparWeb:
Wow!
That's a nifty array - look like big Kyocera panels. 28 of them I guess.
Solar has really come a long way in the past 10 years hasn't it!
Thanks for the update, and glad you still think of us from time to time.
Still satisfied with the solar hot water? I privately thought the high angle of those collectors would cause trouble. If you've had little trouble with them, it would also be good to know, too.
nekit:
Nope the solar water works good. In the summer have more hot water than we know what to do with. In the winter the high angle help gather what little sun we have.

Figured I would post an update. Been running for over 4 years. Take it down once a year a pump grease in bearings and check/tighten axle bearing. Has been trouble free and makes 250kwh per month.
