**SOLD~~ 48v dc inverter ~~SOLD**
« on: February 03, 2011, 08:46:11 PM »
Free for shipping (about $20, it's heavy). It's 10 years old. An Avaya PW9125 2000 20R. This one is 2U rack size, but ours has the pedestal foot option.
2000 VA, 1400 watts it used to back up our PBX but now we have a unified building-wide inverter. It's been through 2 sets of batteries in 10 years. I removed the second set since they are dead. The front bezel is cracked at the top, the battery case is still inside with the wires to jumper 4 SLAs if you want to use it for it's original purpose. It takes 4 12v 9AH SLA's
New, they are $400, and it puts out a sine wave.  http://microxusa.com/cgi-bin/page_main.cgi?UPS&1&05146001-4106&&&&&118908&&&

There are connections in the back for external batteries for extended run time.

Is there a way to force inverter output without 120V input ~ interuption?

I'm interested - to use it as AC source in my Airstream trailer while charging from PV...

http://www.powerfactorinc.com/ups/powerware/pw9125_2000_20r.htm

It says here you can "start on battery" without the grid.

Really tempting, a 88-94% efficient sine inverter/charger for shipping!!

I have to pass - reviewing my collection I'm in need of a 24V inverter/charger to maintain DC oil burner and water pump duties with 120VAC benefits.

I would like it IF PayPal is not involved in my getting the shipping charge to you. (See rant of the day thread).

That fine Tritium. You can mail me a check if you like. Send me your address in Texas again in a PM, I lost it somewhere.

Mods you can mark this sold to Tritium. I'll send it Monday when I get back to work.
