New Camera Test Page
« on: January 01, 2006, 12:55:41 AM »
Finally found a digital camera that will work with my old computer. If it works the pics are susposed to be 640x480.

These are C&D LTC1680 2 volt 1680ah batteries.

A shot of the 1st and 24th battery of the 48 volt system.

Happy New Year to All.

Great pictures. Looks like a commercial install. Makes me wish I had added a new camera to my Christmas list.

This is a standard installation for a phone exchange. I hope that the batteries will be left behind when the new batteries are installed. They were installed in '93. The previous set was installed in '78. I just completed a stress test on them this week, their still holding up very well. I can only hope they will be changed out soon. If not we do have 24 900ah jell cell batteries that are 5 years old that should be changed out in '06. I can at least hope to talk them out of hauling the old one's off. I'll get some pics of the jell batteries next week and post them here. They are all 48 volt strings.

Wow! Really nice looking setup, with shelves and everything! Like DaveW said, professionnal grade work!!

24 batteries, that's quite a battery bank! You must not run out very often, hehe...

That's a room inside your home??

I think I found a new buddy! ;-) If you did get the old batteries that would be quite nice, not having to pay for such an expensive battery bank, even if it isnt new.
