Hello friends!
I have a question about the stator. Following are the description of my rotor.
1: 12inch diameter of rotor plate 12 N42 2in length 1in widths ¼ thick.
2: 12 neo magnets (I don't know about grade) 2in long 1.2inch width 10mm thick other side of rotor.
3: I have #22, #18, #16 gauge wire.
I made my test coil with all of them
360 turns per coil with #22 = 2.5vac, resistance of coil is 1.9ohm.
205 turns per coil with #18 = 2vac, resistance of coil is 1.5ohm.
106 turns per coil with #16 = 1.5vac resistance of coil is 1ohm
I want to make more than 500 watt wind turbine @ 150 rpm cut-in rpm round about 180.
Please suggest me a perfect gauge wire for amps and number of turns for volts. Estimate for me what I should need to do with them to make a turbine
