Ok I bought those 78 cent/watt Evergreen panels
« on: November 11, 2011, 04:59:12 AM »
Well I finally pulled the trigger on part of the solar system....I had been hitting various web sites, monitoring panel prices and finally saw where Sun had won a huge auction of Evergreen panels....the owner of Sun says he will honor the warranty, but I do wonder what will happen if the company changes hands to a heir or is sold....however the reputation of Evergreen is pretty good and so was the price...only time will tell in that regards....

So I ended up with 22-210 watt panels. Since this will be a grid tie system, I was thinking of using the Enphase inverters....I was wondering would the 215 inverters be a good choice, or the 190's/380's for this panel wattage????
( They will be two strings of 11 panels each going back to a central junction box)

If you grid-tie then you have to ask whoever you are tying to. They have much more at stake than you do.
