1|2 hp motor conversion....4 blades-5ft .r.
two groups of coils-4 run 4 start...
built this awhile back--4 poles..neo powered..
just made some new blades for it..wooden hub..
1by4 blades..with airfoil on back side..
nice to have a drill press to make the center hole...sure makes for a good vibration free prop
built a 12by 1oft  shack over the summer..was going to use it for storage..but decided to make a shop out of it..
a lot cheaper to heat in the winter than my old shop--i tossed in my motorhome furnace--nice and warm :}
heres a few picts.......

Good to see you have a cumfy work space. I think this means you'll be making some new machines. Want to see this unit flying and get us some #s.

I see records and a turn table in those pictures. You might even be an old guy like me? LOL Just kiding nobody can be that old.

Winter is there I trust you fared well after that heavy weather you guys had . That blade set looks like you moved it from another install . Glad you got some space set up for your projects I like to see your work from that part of the country .
I just got through putting a roof on my work space . Ill send a pic a little later I have some work to do today and am up before the sun .
The new Space   mostly for  metal work  inner and outer wall .Me and Mr Faraday are are going to continue our discussion on VLF/ELF Binural  3.75
I'm also adding a log feeder and new grate to the smokeless heater . The welding area, DC welding and a tig can now fit in the shop space .
I'd like to see that blade set fly .

hiker.

Eager to hear about your dual rotor alt. Some pictures and story would be great. I've allways enjoyed your projects. Stay warm up there.

Oh can you see Santa when he leaves the north pole from there. I guess he must stop by your place first.

Hi hiker,...."it's powered by nickel size neo's double stacked"...wouldn't happen to have a pic we could look at would you??
Also did you skew the poles ,I"ve read about this ,but don't understand the reason(s).The windings "4 run - 4start", which are which ,I've got a similar motor that has the same coil arrangement, 4 thin , 4 heavy??
Looking forward to some output #'s........artv

Is it Newton's 4th Law or Murphy's 2nd Law?
