Lots of fun in June in WI
« on: May 22, 2012, 10:35:43 PM »
I've got 3 weeks away from home with friends in WI.  Well be building wind turbines in Stevens Point in the North Wind shop:

After that is the 'small wind conference' - which, is not small at all, but it applies mostly to wind electric systems 100KW or less.  Folks showing up are industry leaders, installers... and the discussion is honest.  The breakfast and lunch is worth the price of admission and the beer and pizza at the end of the day is a bonus.

Here is some info about the small wind conference:

Two days after that, is the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair....  which is loads of fun with vendors, workshops, beer, concerts, camping.  It's almost the most fun you can have with your pants on (next to one of Hughs workshops).  Who knows, Jerry Garcia might even show up (I doubt it but.... can always hope).

At any rate it's all a lot of fun and probably a good vacation so I encourage folks to be in on it all.  I won't even go into how fun the camp site is......

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.
