« on: August 19, 2012, 03:59:26 AM »
10 "rotors--9and12 setup-star-55 turns per coil--#14wire
two ceramic mags joined cut in a wedge shape with 3 neoes glued on top-per pole..should have had a few more turns-maybe 65 ?
loaded up the mill in my old 1978 dodge moterhome--went down to my favorite windy site--NO WIND!--why!!
spent the nite--watched old movies on the dvd...hey--woke up wind kicked in!!
hooked up the mill--had a 3 blader prop-2ft workin lenght per blade than a extra 6" for  each hub leg..-kinda small for this mill-but its what i had at hand....winds were about 15-30..gusts
output was-9 amps at 10-14 volts using a 28v -400watt-aircraft landing lite..
forgot to bring my 12v lites!!                 i think my hobby is fading away--sad to say...................its been a blast!       thanks dans.............
