South Yorkshire Energy Centre at Heeley City Farm, in Sheffield, where I used to work, has a 2-cyl Lister air-cooled stationary engine on a very heavy chassis with integral fuel tank and very wobbly wheels!

It hasn't been run for several years but was in excellent order and has been in a container ever since. We used to use it as an exhibit to show that you could run diesels on straigt veg oil. We never used it to drive anything - it just sat and chugged - but it was obtained from a pump-hire co and has the drive blanked off. Would suit pump or genny use, or even narrowboat!

'Buyer' collects from Sheffield. It's on offer for free, but if the lucky recipient decides it's such a good deal that they have to offer something, then SYEC would be happy to receive your donation!

Nick

I'm happy to convey any interest back to him.

I second that! Why does it have to be an ocean away...

ditto

And I don't have a real use for it (if I really need to drive something I've got a tractor PTO) and I'm guessing that getting it home would not be trivial (don't actually know how big/heavy it is, but probably more than 2 people could lift into the back of an estate car?).
