Back again, proceeding by fits and starts.

So it's been awhile since I posted anything regarding my tracker. I thought you might like to see the upgrades I did over the last couple of months.



I basically replaced a bent motor (my fault), installed 3 walmart deep cycle batteries in parallel (3 x 109ah), and threw the three tiny solar panels I could scrounge onto it.

One is a 5w harbor freight that I used previously, the second is similar, but approx 1/2 the size (same volts), and the third oddball is a 32 cell unit that outputs 17.2 volts in full sun, with no load connected. That one may not help much most of the time. All the panels are fed into 3 separate pb137ac voltage regulators, then into the battery bank.

Just using what I got. I really need better panels now though. The challenge after that will be to use the power in some productive manner.
