Well I checked with the county, applied for an experimental variance and they shot me down. All wind has to be UL approved on a tower that was designed for that particular turbine. So I am putting this rotor and hub up for sale and going back to a VAWT (lawn art!) project. Windmax fiberglass blade and hub set, 6'8" diameter. Hub is drilled for 1/2 inch shaft but has enough material to be bored out for a larger shaft. Blades have been sanded and a coat of primer and paint applied, needs to be wet sanded to get some runs out of the paint (My spray can skills are not good!). $75 + actual shipping (I expect around $20-40 because it will be a large box).
