On a short distance from here ,we have a centre of greenhouses.
Several have 40 - 50 hectares.
They grow tomatoes and red peppers on quite a large scale with natural gas.
Lighting and ground heating.
I know a farmer who has  9 generators of 3 Megawatt Jenbacher 20 cylinder grid tied.
And 2 Jenbacher 24 cylinder 4 M-watt.
The crop is sold all over the world ,transport by truck ,train,boat, Airfreight.Thousends of tons.
If there is a problem ,low market or crop-disease there are still the generators making enough money ,selling the energy.
Clever people.
In the local shops we buy tomatoes from Spain , ha,ha.

 i wonder what an earth quake actually feels like ?....never experienced one ...cant say i want to either  :)
