frackers:
Details of my Mk3 controller are here http://gilks.ath.cx/~g8ecj/Mk3_Turbine/Mk3_controller.html.
When I get home I'll post a few useful pictures :)
Monitored output is here http://gilks.ath.cx/cacti/graph_view.php?action=tree&tree_id=5
SparWeb:
Nice to see your turbine back in business. After the thrashing the last one got in the storm, you didn't give up.
Have you ever compared one of those knock-off arduino's to the real things? I wonder why anyone bothers when the real things are between 25-50$ in Canada (don't know if they get marked up when sold in NZ). Not a lot of profit margin to be shaved off, from my perspective.
frackers:
Price for a genuine board from (say) Mouser is about NZ$75 plus post plus tax. I can get a dx.com version for NZ$25 landed. The only issue I have found is the crystal oscillator is a bit variable for frequency, hence putting an option into my code to adjust it :)
ghurd:
Nice!
Sometimes it may help to have a friend in the US to reship unusual items?
You have one.
