I haven't posted in a while but checked in today. Lots of people have been taking clips of my videos and are using them in their videos without my knowledge. 

With regards to my waterwheel, it's still running and going on almost 6 years now. I haven't changed over to the chain drive yet and may not since I would have to go to extreme measures to keep the water off of it. I may just bite the bullet and order a timing belt and sprockets/sheaves to match.

The wood bearings are still working, but have worn quite a bit. A while back I ordered new roller bearings to put in my original pillow blocks as well as a new type of seal that should work better to prevent water ingress. I would still put a splash shield over the entire assembly to keep water off the bearings. The roller bearings would be more efficient than the wood ones as there would be less rolling resistance.

As  far as adding more blade area, I'll get to that at some point. Maybe when/if I retire in a couple years.

I'll be sure to update the forum if I make any changes.
