A few packs in action; lighting
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:46:49 PM »
A few of my packs in action (sort of) after capacity matching.  Is it worth it to match? probably not, but something to do I suppose.

Most of the batteries in this photo are at least 7 years old.  Most of these packs are now at only 50% to 75% capacity.  The little Tenergy NICDS are holding up better than the nimhs after several refresh charges in the intelligent battery charger (generally I use small pv panels to charge them).

A refresh cycle on my BM200 charger consist of a charge, discharge to .9v, then repeat the process 2 more times.  It does seem like it takes forever, but, also worth the wait - for sure on the nicds.

48 SMD "dome light or cabin light", very comparable to the 5W Harbor Freight CFL'S imo.

one other project just wrapping up, free with the exception of the paint and screws
