yuasa npw45-12 12v, 45w/cell,10min
« on: September 11, 2017, 03:00:24 PM »
Hey, I have I think 12 of these yuasa npw45-12 12v, 45w/cell,10min batteries. I want to know if using them in a battery bank would be a useful power supply for more lighting in my shed. How quickly would they drain if I were to use maybe two 10 watt light bulbs for 12 hours a day? I would power them with an extra 100 watt solar panel I have. What does the 10 mins mean? Would this even work? Thanks

8.5 amp hour at 20 hour rate... that is the spec you need https://www.yuasa.co.uk/yuasa/datasheet/index/sku/NPW45-12/

10 watts at 12 volts is ~ 1 amp hour(a little less but ease of math) so you could easily run 2 bulbs of 12 of the batteries.
