Yesterday's radio gardening show instructed listeners to pile more snow on the tulip shoots to protect them overnight, since it would be below freezing again.
Everyone was aware of how absurd the interview sounded, including the radio show host and guest.

We had freezing rain on Saturday and  to continue today followed by heavy rain.  They are calling it a historic weather system.  The flowers here are up  - 3 this morning.
