I've just purchased a 70's era Aero Power "Starlite 1500" put up in 1979 and still running on its Rohn tower, well, sort of. These 1500 watt generators have 6' diameter sitka spruce blades, with blade actuated governors, like the later jakes, but with a belt driven tranny. There were 3 in my area that ran for decades until the owners moved or stopped doing maintenance on them. They were sold by Aero Power, Berkeley California (Mario Agnetti), and Nite & Day Power Technologies, Davenport California (Gary Ingram). Any leads out there for part, blades, or other info? It's a beauty, and it's quiet!
