Strange ominous rumblings from England this weekend...  haha, not the kind I expected.

Here's an audio file that I created by connecting the microphone input (through resistors and capacitors for protection) to the AC leads of my wind turbine.

The turbine slows down and speeds up during the recording, changing the tone.  The low-pitched beat is the main power frequency, the high-pitched buzzes are the harmonics.  Wild AC is messy.

In any case, yes, I'll do something quick-n-dirty for now but will think about something tidier later.  I probably can scratch something today from the data from my tiny (1W) and the MotorWind devices...

Sorry Mary, somehow missed your post.

In this case I've taken the generation logs and turned them into a WAV.  Some at 15 minute intervals, and some at 5 and 1.  All compress a year of data into a second of audio.  The last one is 5-years' worth.
