Hugh Piggott's books

(1/1)

SparWeb:
Hugh Piggot is a "pioneer" in the DIY wind turbine business.  Except he hardly started as a business - it was a way of life for him living on barren Scoraig Island of Scotland.

He maintains a blog:  https://scoraigwind.co.uk/

He has published many books.  Most are how-to guides and detailed that you can use to build your own wind turbine.

Hugh Piggott has also made contributions to development projects in 3rd world countries, and these books are also of interest to us because in principle these plans use very simple materials and techniques to make a working turbine.  Very educational.

In a strange twist, I was invited to contribute to the Italian translation of Hugh's book Wind Turbine Workshop because the author wanted to add some "goodies" from other websites like Fieldlines and mine.  And I don't even speak Italian...  :)
