Diecast compressor fottings

Hi

I had an Ingersol Rand oil less 7 CFM portable compressor for a framing nailer, in fact I still have it. The conrod bolts through the diaphragm. A lad on the same job had an almost identical compressor that worked until it was just 3 months out of guarantee when the conrod which was glued to the conrod became detached and thrashed the crankcase into oblivion.

On the other hand I have a Chinese plasma cutter that regularly gets pushed beyond the recomended maximum thickness of cut and it never misses a beat, just eats the tips.  (well it hasn't until i've just sung its praises).
