Where to find SITKA SPRUCE and DOUGLAS FIR timber , to carving a few Jacobs and Wincharger blades ,please ?

I bought some nice douglas fir from a guy on kijiji named paul miller.  I can't say it was a smooth transaction, but some of the fir was top notch stuff. He still has ads on kijiji. He delivers to Calgary pretty regularly i think.

That's where i would go for what you are looking for.  Have a good look at it and make sure it is what you ordered before paying.

These species of wood are still used for building authentic wooden aircraft.  Contact experimental or recreational aircraft builders.
